Sophora crocodile

The japanese sophora croc is part of the crocodile series, that we started making originally to reuse the odd shapes and offcuts of our wood storage. By now it has grown into its own collection with unique characters, some inspired by the wood we use, some personifing stories we create together with our pieces.

Technical information:

This crocodile is made of Japanese pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum), cut down for real estate development. The details are painted with oil paint and finished with boiled linseed oil.
